Release 4.4 (Summer '24)

New Features:

• Machine Learning (AI/ML) Define Machine Learning (ML) Models and Inferences that will be executed in the IoT Cloud. The resulting ML Inferences are available in the Calculated Fields, Alert Conditions, Visualizations and the IoT Database and Data Lake.

  • Create/Upload ML Models Any ML Model can be created by a data-scientist and uploaded the IoT Cloud (e.g. Anomaly Detection, Value Predictions, etc.)
  • Define ML Inferences in Thing Types in IoT Setup

• Enhanced Auto-Registration NEW IoT Registration records can now be auto-created by the IoT Cloud as unrecognized IoT Things are detected, or created in Salesforce by an integration. The Auto-Registration job can also be configured and scheduled to automatically find, populate, and register/deregister the related IoT Things.

• Language Translations Added support for Translations to all of the Visualizations and end-user components as well as multiple out-of-the-box Language Translations.

• Thing Timeline The NEW Thing Timeline component can be added to the Thing/Asset page to show important events including:

  • IoT Registrations
  • IoT Alert History
  • Asset Downtime Periods
  • Cases & Work Orders
  • Servitization Coverage

• License Alarms License Alarms can now be configured and automatically created into Salesforce so that administrators can monitor and automate actions on both Salesforce App and Device Licenses.
